Cars Celebrities Should Avoid Spending Their Money On

Cars Celebrities Should Avoid Spending Their Money On

The phenomenon of paparazzi snapping the pictures of celebrities while trying to get them to answer the most intimate questions has been a tradition for decades. In the 20th century, only the A-list Hollywood stars were photographed as they stepped out of their expensive vehicles in professionally styled clothes.

However, now even the B-list celebrities, social media stars, and internet sensations also get the same treatment when they are out to get groceries or heading for their gym session.

Due to social media, nothing is private anymore as the paparazzi and the fans are well aware of the cars that each celebrity owns. This makes it easier for the fans and paparazzi to spot them which makes it hard for these celebs to even shop for groceries. Not only that, but this can also become a security hazard.

Recently, the social media star Logan Paul invited a professional paparazzi to his podcast, titled Impaulsive. Upon asking how the paparazzi know where a particular celebrity is going to be, the guest answered that they have the cars and number plates memorized.

That is not the only issue. Some of the wealthiest celebrities in the world are seen driving the most questionable vehicles.

Their choice shows that despite having earned millions if not billions, these celebrities are just like the rest of us in that they have questionable taste when it comes to cars. You will only see that the celebrities who are car fanatics own cars that really exemplify their status.

Chris Hemsworth and his Acura MDX

The world knows Chris as Thor, and mainly as an action film hero. You can imagine him roaming around in an Acura SUV but, the fact that he is married to Elsa Pataky, who is part of the Fast and Furious franchise; it is quite disappointing to see that the couple was roaming around in an Acura MDX. At least, we expected Elsa to know a little about cars.

Jennifer Lopez’ Fiat 500

The cute and small Fiat 500 surprisingly has a lot of space but any Hollywood star can do better than a Fiat, and this is Jennifer Lopez we are talking about. It is quite baffling to see the music superstar riding in a car so underpowered and with such a minimal battery range. Even the CEO, the late Sergio Marchionne, who sold this model talked down on it.

Sean Penn and Charlize Theron’s Lexus

A Lexus is precisely the same as a Prius but with better design and a nicer interior. However, Prius on the other side has better mileage and is much safer for the environment as compared to a Lexus. Apparently, these two celebrities would rather let the planet suffer than be seen in a slightly less nice of a car.

Kendall Jenner and Land Rover’s Range Rover

It is quite surprising to see one of the highest paid models being seen in a Land Rover’s Range Rover when her younger sister is known for having multiple luxury cars just rotting away in her driveway. The vehicle is usually joked over that it is best to buy two of them because one of these will unexpectedly be at the shop. This car is notorious for breaking down all of a sudden.

Samuel L. Jackson’s Maybach 57 S

He is one of the very prominent A-list actors in Hollywood. His movies are known to earn more profit than anyone else. However, this is no surprise considering the fact that he belongs to the Star Wars franchise, and is associated with Marvel Cinematic Universe and the Unbreakable trilogy.

The star is known to own Maybach 57 S and 62 models as well which were known as the ultimate luxury cars when they were launched back in the 2000s. This is definitely a good choice but not a smart one since it will be too hard to find parking in LA for this beast.
