Many athletes are known to be car enthusiasts, and Washington Redskins’ Vernon Davis is definitely one of them. Although, unlike most of his fellow sportsmen who love collecting dozens of luxurious vehicles, Davis has a more personal and practical approach when it comes to acquiring cars.
2018 BMW 750i
Comfort is one of the main qualifications of Davis in choosing his everyday ride, and the 2018 BMW 750i has already passed his requirements. He said he needed a huge vehicle where he can fit all his kids adequately while still being able to satisfy his need for speed.
He loves the fact that he can use the vehicle on almost every occasion, such as their family’s daily activities, during an out-of-town trip, and other special events.
Davis is so satisfied with the vehicle’s overall quality that he gave it a ten out of ten rating. Although he would prefer for it to had more gadgets to conveniently maximize the car’s features, for the most part, the football player is a happy and satisfied car owner.
His purchase of the BMW is his definition of a good vehicle investment because he’s able to utilize it very well.
2016 Mercedes Maybach S600
And on cases that he needs to flaunt a luxurious four-wheel, he got himself a 2016 Mercedes Maybach S600. Even though the speed of it is incomparable with the BMW, he still takes so much pride on his Maybach.
He is well-pleased with its performance and very much satisfied with its appearance. He gave it a nine out of ten rating, although he would have given it a perfect ten if the doors would open automatically.
If You Look Good, You Feel Good!
He only uses the Maybach for special occasions such as movie premiers, but the kids wished they could be able to use it every day. To make the kids happy, he lets them play inside the car on their parking garage.
They also drive it when going to delicate restaurants, to watch games, or to simply have breakfast outside. He admitted that the beauty of the vehicle makes him feel good about himself, and it gives him a much-needed confidence boost.
First Driving Experience, First Car, and Road Trips
Davis first got his hands behind the wheels when he was fifteen years old. His aunt helped him learn how to drive using his grandma’s gold 1996 Chevrolet Impala.
At first, he would only sit on his aunt’s lap practicing to press the gas and have a feel of the steering wheel. When he was already getting the hang of it, his aunt transferred in the passenger seat and let him drive by himself.
His mother gave him his first car, a 1998 Chevrolet Tahoe. He was finally able to purchase his own car during his professional career. His choice was a Cadillac Escalade. Davis and his wife love going on road trips, that’s why Davis selects his ride based on its power and convenience.
