Shirley Higgins Jan 05, 2023

A complete makeover is no easy task, especially when you are stuck in a tough routine that consists of you waking up, going to work, doing house chores, and heading to bed. This monotony often results in people being unable to invest time in health and fitness. However, this doesn’t change the fact that it is extremely necessary for people to prioritize their health.

Many people make an effort to transform their lives not only physically but also holistically. Some of these people happen to be celebrities who are always under the spotlight. Thus, their transformations also serve as a source of motivation and inspiration for their fans.

It is not uncommon for celebrities to do this. Just think of Adele, the famous singer-songwriter who shocked the world with her toned physique. Or consider Rebel Wilson, the lovable comedian who has been actively working to improve herself.

1. Jennifer Hudson

Jennifer Hudson rocked the stage when she auditioned for American Idol season 3. At the time, she was pursuing her traveling hobby and had just gotten back from a cruise boat. While the audience loved Hudson, Simon Cowell was not impressed.

Despite the disapproval, Hudson continued to showcase her talent and even went on to win an Oscar for her role in ‘Dreamgirls.’ It was her passion and commitment that not only led her to her goals but also resulted in her getting healthy and fit. Now, Jennifer Hudson is rocking a whole new look with the same amazing talent.

2. Missy Elliott

Known for being one of the pioneers in paving the way for women in hip-hop music, Missy Elliott is not just anybody. From ‘Get your Freak On’ to starring in ‘Lady Marmalade’, Missy Elliott was always the one to wow the crowd thanks to her attitude, style, and undeniable stage presence.

However, in 2008, she was diagnosed with Grave’s disease, which is an autoimmune disorder that affects the thyroid glands. Because of this, she had to shift her lifestyle to a healthy one, whereby she included healthy eating and exercising. It not only aided her in her transformation, but it significantly improved her health as well.

3. Jessica Simpson

While Jessica Simpson may be out of the spotlight right now, she was a force to be reckoned with in the early 90s. From TV series to music deals, Jessica was on her way to reaching new heights in fame.

But with that fame came a lot of scrutiny once she became pregnant. Internet trolls, critics, and haters joined in to point out Simpson’s obvious weight gain, which ended up becoming the butt of many jokes. Despite all the bullying, Jessica lost 100 pounds in a matter of 6 months after the birth of her daughter Birdie Mag.
