This was then followed by two more films in the Iron-Man trilogy but was immediately followed by two more MCU heroes like Thor and Captain America, which both has its own two sequels. The very first Avengers film was released in 2012 which was also followed by another two including the one that was recently released.
However, the final Avengers film will actually be released next year and it would mark the ending of the saga of the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Marvel then said that even if it will be the end, it would just mean that they would bring in more solo superhero films into the MCU such as the sequel to Dr. Strange, Black Panther, and Spider-Man. This would also give way to new superheroes such as Captain Marvel, whose solo film will be released next year.

They are actually almost on their $2 billion mark which is a record-breaking success for the MCU. Experts believe that they might actually get more than that if the ticket sales don’t go down. Marvel is indeed on the top of its game because of this major blockbuster success, based on predictions, this wouldn’t even be their major release since the final Avengers movie will be out next year and it may double the blockbuster sales.
This third installment on the Avengers series is known to be one of the most expensive films that have ever been made in the Hollywood history with over $321 million on their budget. Disney has definitely made the right choice on acquiring MCU since they have provided it with what they need. Experts believe that the MCU creators have definitely explored their potential in order to create such masterpieces and turn them into films that people would surely go crazy for.
MCU’s movie lineup in the coming years
This is one of the things critics have been pointing out especially against Warner Bros. DC films. The previous Justice League film didn’t really affect that much into the people and it didn’t make a connection compared to how MCU built their empire of superheroes based from the comics that people loved.
Critics also can’t help but compare the MCU films to another Disney acquisition which is the continuation of the Star Wars Saga. Film critics said that Star Wars does not connect to the younger viewers as much as MCU does and that’s why it is not getting as much attention as the MCU films. Although it is just like any other mainstream superhero film, the craze is what gets the people the most and everyone wants to become a part of it.
