In the Month of January
You may think January is too cold to go out, but for the organizers of Boot Dusselforf, it would be their 50th event in January 2019.
The event is spread over 16 exhibition halls, and 18 themed areas, all on 2,368,060 sq. ft. of space. Prepare to be dazzled by the Sailing Centre, Dive Centre, World of Paddling, among many other on display at the event.
The 2018 version of the event saw 247,000 visitors attend, representing 102 countries. Around 2000 exhibitors came from 68 countries to display their beloved assets.
February Brings the Miami International Boat Show
Around mid-February 2019, Miami will host over 1300 boats at their event which will be organized a their Miami Beach Convention Centre.
However that is not the only attraction for the thousands who come to attend, as the nearby Coconut Grove offers amazing opportunities to shop and dine.
The Dubai International Boat Show is also organized towards the end of February, and hosts close to 26,000 visitors from many countries. Major yacht brands with origins in the US and Europe can be found at this event. But, then again, Dubai needs no excuse to be visited, considering its high-rise buildings and amazing shopping malls.

The Palm Beach International Boat Show in March
This used to be a much smaller boat show compared to the massive event it has grown to become, thanks to the thousands who have shown consistent support for the event with their attendance. Attend the show if you want to see boats with a collective worth of $1.2 billion.
April has the Singapore Yacht Show
The Sentosa Island hosts the Singapore Yacht Show, which not only exhibits top-of-the-line yachts but also jewellery brands, luxury fashion, super cars, and much more for the many who come from far away places to attend the gorgeous exhibition. 15000 people had attended the previous version of the event.
April and May
Things slow down a bit during this time of the year, and we are not sure why that happens. But the MYBA Charter Show happens as the months transition from April to May, organized at the OneOcean Port Vell.
The show is not for amateurs, rather is tailored to the tastes of professionals. Only 1885 people attended the one held in 2018, however it was a spectacular one which emerged successful in the end.
Attend the Newport Charter Yacht Show in June
Newport is sometimes called the sailing capital of the US, hence its only fitting that a water-related event like the Newport Charter Yacht Show is held there.
Although mid-June is a very hot time to do anything, yet thousands attend this show for its four-day celebration of boats, full of amazing food, costumed events, and cocktail competitions.
September Through December
This is the busy time of the year for yachting events around the world. We’ve already mentioned the Cannes Yachting Festival which is organized in mid-September, but then there is also the Southampton Boat Show organized by TheYachtMarket.com which is held around the same time (although we’d recommend attending the Cannes Yachting Festival since its much bigger).
October has the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show, so make the trip to witness their gorgeous cruising grounds.
The year ends with the Antigua Charter Yacht Meeting, which has yachts on display at the docks for a good five days, whereby they set sail on the fifth day. The best thing about this one is that the meeting is a non-profit initiative, and proceeds go to helping worthy causes such as education and flood-relief.
