Several cars were revealed to appear in the upcoming James Bond film at the Royal set visit

James Bond is one of the world’s longest-running movie series, and it’s set to release its 25th installment next April. Aside from the handsome protagonist known as 007, James Bond’s car is one of the most anticipated stars in the movie as well.

James Bond Cars

Over the past decades, we’ve seen several James Bond cars such as the Aston Martin DB5, Lotus Esprit S1, Aston Martin V8 Vantage, BMW 750iL, Mercury Cougar XR-7, Toyota 2000GT Roadster, Ford Mustang Mach 1, BMW Z8, and Aston Martin DBS.

Aston Martin V8 Vantage

The Aston Martin V8 Vantage is reportedly the chosen James Bond car for its next installment

Among all the vehicles that the world’s favorite MI6 agent drove, the Aston Martins were definitely the most notable ones. That is why the team behind the upcoming Bond 25 decided to feature a familiar four-wheeled beauty; the Aston Martin V8 Vantage.

The model first appeared in the 1987 James Bond movie, The Living Daylights with Timothy Dalton.

The 1987 Aston featured several gadgets such as a couple of outrigger skis, spike-spitting tires, lasers installed in the vehicle’s hub assembly, and explosives hidden behind the headlights. The new James Bond film didn’t reveal much of its car’s features yet, but we’re assuming there will be more upgrades considering the modern-day’s influence.

In the first installment of the movie adaptation of Ian Fleming’s novel, James Bond steered a Sunbeam Alpine, but most of the other films featured another Aston Martin model, which is a DB5.

It appeared in Goldfinger, Thunderball, GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, Casino Royale, and Skyfall. While there’s also a spreading rumor that Bond might actually drive a Valhalla supercar in the 25th film, the official Twitter account of the film James Bond revealed photos of the V8 Vantage.

Bond 25 Cast

Daniel Craig will still play the role of 007, while Rami Malek will portray the main antagonist’s character in Bond 25

Daniel Craig will portray the fictional character James Bond alongside the other casts like Ralph Fiennes returning as Bond’s superior officer, M, and Naomie Harris as his assistant, Eve Moneypenny.

Rami Malek will play the role of the main antagonist, while Lea Seydoux will be Bond’s leading lady, Dr. Madeleine Swann. Ben Whishaw will also return as agent Q, and Jeffrey Wright will portray the persona of Felix Leiter; agent 007’s friend and Central Intelligence Agency’s field officer.

The production began sometime around 2016, but Sony Pictures didn’t renew its contract to co-produce the James Bond movies, so another big company in the film industry is anticipated to take over the rights to air the Bond 25 on the silver screen.

There are still a lot of questions that are lying around about the upcoming James Bond film, and all we could do for now is to wait for more details as the year 2020 approaches.
