On May 6, 2019, the Duchess of Sussex gave birth to 7lbs 3oz baby boy, Archie Harrison. He is currently the youngest member of the royal family, and seventh in line to the throne. Ever since he was born, his name always pops up on the news headlines.
A New Job Opening
In a couple of days, baby Archie will turn three months old, and within that period of time, he reportedly already had three nannies.
It wasn’t clear what are the first-time parents’ reasons for constantly looking for a new nanny. But we’re pretty sure the Duke and Duchess of Sussex only want the best for their son.
However, before we speculate, let’s all consider the fact that the needs of an infant are persistently changing, and we’re only talking about the needs of a regular baby. We think it’s fair to say that Archie isn’t just your typical baby-next-door. His parents have several royal duties to fulfill, and engagements to attend.
Job Openings at the Buckingham Palace
And we all know that serving the royal family requires special kinds of skills and qualifications.
Just recently, Prince William and Kate Middleton were looking for a diary coordinator that can work under a lot of pressure, while mindfully organizing the royal couple’s schedule. But they needed an extra-ordinary diary coordinator, who can also be a team player and has excellent communication and IT skills.
When the Queen was looking for a new royal chef, the palace specified in the advertisement that anyone who’s up for the position should be willing to travel and has great leadership qualities. There was even a time that the Buckingham Palace needed a social media expert in their crew.
Archie Might Need a Travel Buddy!
And as per baby Archie’s nanny, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might need a babysitter who’s willing to travel with them.
The royal couple previously announced that they’re planning to go to South Africa for a royal mission. As per the reports, they are planning to take baby Archie with them because their tour might take a couple of months.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex didn’t disclose the reasons why the previous nannies stopped working for them either.
According to the reports, the last nanny they hired signed a non-disclosure agreement, and no one could confirm if that babysitter is still serving the royal family or if she’s one of the two who already finished their commitments with Prince Harry and Meghan.
Whatever their reasons behind the job opening, this could be a good opportunity for people who wish to be part of the royal staff and work with the royal family.
