All across the United States, there have been reports on the increased sales of boats. Boat repair shops are also experiencing a surge of activities. According to a recent report, most boat dealers are running short on inventory. People are tired of sitting at home and want to get out.
But along with the desire to move, people also don’t want to forget about their safety. Social distancing may not be well implemented at recreational parks, but it can be observed at sea.
With people buying more boats, the US coast guard is also preparing for the development. They are finding it difficult to instruct boaters directly, and instead, have been recommending dedicated safety supervisors to new boaters.
A top boat dealer in Port Harbor claimed to be experiencing lots of sales. He is positive that he will record his most significant deals this year. Another one in Maine said that the demand for boats is spreading like wildfire in the region. She also said that she recorded the most significant sales in June.
In California too, boat sellers are recording huge transactions. The owner of Marina Del Rey yacht sales and Long Beach yacht center said that he has been in the boat business for over 45 years but hasn’t ever seen this kind of a surge in the industry. Most boat dealers have been experiencing profits during COVID-19. Well, at least someone’s profiting!
