Ever since Ironman sacrificed his life for the sake of the entire universe in the Avengers: Endgame, the fans of Marvel Cinematic Universe are eager to know who would take over the place of being the franchise’s main superhero.
Who Will Be Ironman’s Successor?
Rumors are spreading that Peter Parker might be the number one candidate to fill in the role. Spider-Man: Far From Home’s trailer strongly suggests that the young superhero is considering doing so. After all, he and Tony Stark had a deep history together. But if he will step in to be the successor of Ironman, it will require him a lot of courage and a car fit for a king.
Audi e-Tron GT
Luckily for our young protégé, his beloved mentor’s Audi e-Tron GT survived the almost-end-of-the-world. Although Peter Parker is still a high school student and doesn’t own a car in the movie Spider-Man: Homecoming, we’ve seen him in action with an Audi TT convertible in the scene where he stole Flash Thompson’s car. He may have doubts about replacing Ironman’s role in saving the universe, but he undeniably could nail a handsome Audi on the street just like dear old Tony Stark.
Will Spider-Man Drive the Same Car?
In the short film Science Fair, Peter Parker faced a very serious battle with his best friend, Ned. But this time, it has nothing to do with saving the universe or fighting bad men. The only thing that’s at stake in this film is Peter Parker’s school reputation. To assure his victory, he called his super friends at S.H.E.I.L.D to help him take Tony Stark’s all-electric Audi e-Tron GT concept at his school’s science fair. Unfortunately, the tandem lost to a team that constructed a replica of Tony Stark’s Arc Reactor that is powered by potatoes.
For those who haven’t seen the movie yet, I’m pretty sure that they are anticipating the re-appearance of the e-Tron GT. However, neither Audi nor the filmmakers officially confirmed it, and I hate to spoil the surprise. One thing is for sure, there will be an e-Tron SUV, A7, and Q8 appearances in Spider-Man: Far From Home.
Tom Holland as Spider-Man
The 23-year old English actor Tom Holland portrays the role of Peter Parker since 2016. He first appeared in the movie Captain America: Civil War and continued wearing Spider-Man’s mask in Spider-Man: Homecoming, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame.
