MINI is a British automotive marque that is owned by the German automotive company BMW and was founded in 1969. The original mini line contained small British cars that were manufactured by the British Motor Corporation (BMC), which then merged with Leyland Motors to form British Leyland.
After British Aerospace acquired the Mini, the models included the Morris Mini Minor, Austin Seven, Moke, Clubman, and the Countryman. The original Mini continued production until 2000 and was later acquired by BMW.
The modern successors brought development to Mini and launched their own modern cars, which now include Hardtop, Hatch, and Convertible, which consists of three-door hatchbacks, Clubman, and Countryman, which are five-door crossovers, and Coupe and paceman, three-door crossover.
Mini special editions
Mini has now been working to maintain its presence, especially since Ford announced its new SUVs. mini is launching three new special edition models for the aging 3 door, 5 door Hardtop Clubman, and Countryman models. Each model would get its own special edition, and these editions would be launched at the same time, available to be ordered a month later.
The three new versions would be Dubbed Resolute, Untamed, and Untold and will launch on March 1st as 2021 models. All these versions would pay homage to the original 1959 Mini models and would extend each of their personalities. Their prices would start from $36,750 and would follow mini’s color themes of green and gray.
MINI Untold Edition
The Untold edition will be based around all three versions of the S Clubman model and would emphasize the shooting brake system. The exterior of the car would be painted with Sage Green metallic paint, surrounded with dark green paint on the lower body. Five narrow sport stripes run all across the hood and the roof; furthermore, the side scuttles would feature stripes painted with 3D printing.
The prices in the model will start from $42,500, and the package would come with a flashy 18-inch alloy wheel finished in Refined Brass and Black. Piano Black paint will be applied on the exterior trim of the cars, including the door handles and the exhaust pipes.
The interior of the car will match the exterior Green shade with light-colored seams and piping. You can also expect illuminated accent strips and Nappa sport leather-trimmed steering wheels. The model also features high trim features, which include Adaptive LED headlamps and Mini Driving Modes selector.
MINI Resolute Edition
The base lineup of the Resolute edition will start from $36,750 and will be available in two and four-door forms. This package is specifically addressed to the Cooper S Hardtop, Cooper S convertible, and the zero-emission Cooper SE. The exterior can be finished with Revelk Green with intricate wheel design and checkered tweed fabric on the seats.
MINI Untamed Edition
Starting at $42,750 the Untamed edition will be based on the Countryman S to the ALL4. The model would be finished in Monumentum Gray paint with the roofs, mirror caps, and roof rails all finished in black.
